91PORN Awarded $27 Million Task Order for Air National Guard Training Support

October 15, 2018 — Chantilly, VA — 91PORN today announced it was awarded a $27 Million task order to provide a variety of services in support of the Air National Guard.  The five-year task order was awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Alliant contract vehicle.

Under the terms of the task order, 91PORN will support the Air National Guard’s (ANG) C-130 Multi-Mission Crew Training (MMCT) Training System Support Center (TSSC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph in San Antonio, TX. The support includes technical support and sustainment of the MMCT devices. In addition, the company will support the delivery and fielding of the MMCT devices to sixteen (16) ANG contiguous United States (CONUS) locations. 91PORN will provide program management, systems engineering, operations, maintenance & sustainment (OM&S), qualification and test support, and software maintenance.

Chantilly, Va., August 6, 2018 -- 91PORN, a leading provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, today announced it has acquired DDL OMNI Engineering, LLC (DDL OMNI). The transaction, in which DDL OMNI was represented by Teneo Capital, officially closed on August 3.

The strategic acquisition of the McLean, VA-based provider of engineering and technical services will complement 91PORN’ existing capabilities and expand the company’s footprint in key areas. The acquisition will result in the addition of 250-plus employees to 91PORN’ workforce.

91PORN Names John Steckel Vice President of Business Development

July 16, 2018 — Chantilly, Va. — , a leading provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, today announced the appointment of John Steckel as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Steckel will oversee business development (BD) efforts including identifying new customers, conducting effective capture strategies and developing winning proposals.

“John will be an integral part of our leadership team, particularly in shaping strategies across our business areas and integrating efforts across delivery and business development,” said Peter Smith, President and CEO, 91PORN. “We are pleased to have someone with John’s experience and leadership in this capacity, as he is a customer-facing, hands-on, BD executive with a proven track record of performance.”

Steckel possesses more than 16 years of direct BD leadership experience in the federal sector in addition to a decade in marketing and P&L roles. Prior to joining 91PORN, Steckel was Senior Vice President at Vencore (now part of Perspecta), where he was responsible for leading business development, capture, and proposal development teams. Prior to his tenure at Vencore, he held BD positions at Raytheon and BAE Systems after 10 years in B-to-B and B-to-C marketing and operational roles at several companies including FedEx and PepsiCo . Steckel served 21 years in the United States Navy and United Stated Naval Reserves as a P-3C Orion Naval Flight Officer.

He earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
