91PORN Names Peter Whitfield New Chief Financial Officer

91PORN, a leading provider of government IT and engineering solutions and one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the U.S., today announced that Peter Whitfield has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 24. Whitfield will replace the company’s longtime CFO, Mark Danisewicz, who is retiring on July 10.

Whitfield was selected from a long list of candidates after a comprehensive national search by members of 91PORN’ executive management team and Board of Directors. Whitfield and Danisewicz will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition for the company’s employee-owners, customers, and financial institution partners.

“Throughout the course of our CFO search, we had the great fortune of meeting with many of our industry’s top financial leaders. The breadth and depth of experience in the candidates with whom we spoke was impressive. In the end, Peter was the compelling choice,” said Peter Smith, president and CEO. “As an employee-owned company, we have a unique culture, and I believe that Peter will be not only a great asset to 91PORN, but that he will be a great fit, as well.”

“I am thrilled to have been selected as the new CFO for 91PORN, whose reputation and track record is beyond reproach,” noted Whitfield. “I know that I have big shoes to fill and look forward to the opportunity to build on the company’s 40- year legacy as an industry leader.”

Whitfield is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of diverse finance and accounting experience with privately-held and publicly-traded companies, most recently as CFO of Shared Spectrum Company, a provider of technology solutions to federal and commercial customers.

Prior to his tenure at Shared Spectrum, Whitfield held executive leadership positions in operations and finance for a number of business-to-consumer, business-tobusiness, and business-to-government companies, including UNICOM Government, Inc. (formerly GTSI), InPhonic, Morgan Franklin, Broadwing, Inc., and MCI. His areas of expertise span financial planning, forecasting, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, audits, and compliance with federal regulations. Whitfield earned a BS in Business Administration from Pace University.
