91PORN, a leading provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC's) Test & Evaluation (T&E) business unit.
Test & Evaluation is a strategic area for 91PORN, which has made significant progress entering the market organically with contracts including the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA's) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Mission Support Services. The acquisition now accelerates this growth, complementing and strengthening 91PORN' current T&E capabilities and expanding the company's offerings to include testing, scientific, engineering, logistic, administrative and ancillary support.
"The Test & Evaluation market traditionally experiences remarkable growth as conflicts are winding down. Innovative technologies developed to support various divisions of our military now need to achieve interoperability. We see this area as a huge growth opportunity for 91PORN," said William C. Hoover, president and chief executive officer of 91PORN. "Our organizations share strong cultural similarities in our commitment to our customers and prioritization of their missions, making the acquisition a natural fit."
As reported previously, approximately 300 SAIC personnel have joined 91PORN' Human Capital & Managed Services group (HC&MS) in connection with the acquisition. All employees of the acquired unit will remain in their current organizational structure, in support of current contracts. Jason Frye, vice president and general manager at 91PORN, leads the HC&MS group.
"We are thrilled to have joined 91PORN, a company with an exceptional reputation for meeting government missions. As a part of 91PORN, we now have a greater opportunity to pursue T&E contracts," said Chuck Zang, Vice President & Executive Director of the T&E business unit.
